Mrs. Debra Spann, PME Teacher of the Year

Mrs. Debra Spann, PME Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to Mrs. Debra Spann, Art Instructor and Pine Meadow's Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Spann is married to David Spann and they have two daughters, Lindsay and Ashley who both attended Pine Meadow for all six years of elementary school. Mrs. Spann started teaching at Pine Meadow in August of 1983. "At that time, there were 362 students at this little country school. I love teaching students to be creative and think outside the box," says Mrs. Spann. When not helping instill a love of Art of all kinds into the minds and hearts of her Pine Meadow family, Mrs. Spann enjoys gardening, painting, and lazy summer days at the beach. Mrs. Spann has spent 31 years of her teaching career serving teachers, parents, and students at Pine Meadow Elementary. It is a great honor to recognize Debra Spann as Pine Meadow's Teacher of the Year.

Parent Portal Issues

The FOCUS website, which hosts our Parent Portal is being moved to a new, faster server. During this process, gradebook processes and other programs which draw data from Focus (Renaissance/AR, Discovery Education, etc.) are affected. We will post on our website and school facebook page when all services have been restored.
